New Video Available: Julia Schulze-Hentrich on Sex Differences in Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s disease affects men more frequently than women, yet the biological mechanisms underlying these sex differences remain incompletely understood. In her talk, Julia Schulze-Hentrich explored how genetic, environmental, and epigenetic factors may contribute to disease development and progression in a sex-specific manner.

Bridging Disciplines: The iRTG Summer School 2025 in Lübeck

From September 8–12, 2025, doctoral candidates and researchers from the Collaborative Research Centre “Sexdiversity” (CRC 1665) gathered at the Institute for Medical History and Science Ethics (IMGWF) in Lübeck for an intensive five-day Summer School. This year’s theme was dedicated to a core value of the CRC: interdisciplinarity.
